A cook by passion, Deborah is a professional lawyer and has always cultivated a curiosity for authentic and traditional ingredients and preparations. Starting from the kitchens of her grandmothers, aunts, and mother and then moving on to those of the chefs in her hometown, she has never stopped practicing what for her is the most creative and relaxing “pastime”, but also the privileged tool for taking care of friends and relatives: cooking.
Working together with her on the project is the family that in the younger generations has brought the innovation, technology, and efficiency that make Cooking Sicily unique and unrepeatable.
THE IDEA
Cooking Sicily was born from the encounter between our passion for cooking and the curiosity of those who, passing through us on a journey to discover the iconic places of our island, have realized that to really get to know it, one cannot fail to pass through… the kitchen!
Over the years, the already comfortable spaces have been adapted for an experience that is both homely and professional; attention to detail, such as the logo and the website; links with quality partners in the panorama of food and wine excellence in the Etna area have ensured that what began as a game has become a project: to bring Sicily to the world through the experiences of those who have come to visit us at home, in the kitchen.

However, all this would not have been possible and would not have even begun without the thousands of gourmands who have come from all over the world to taste Sicily.
Their sincere enthusiasm, and the happiness we read in their eyes after each taste are the fuel of our passion and the reason that drives us to continue with unwavering commitment and determination.
Receiving their feedback, photos of their dishes, comments from friends who have tasted them, or even having them back to us years after their “first time”, is the confirmation that the path we have set out on is the right one.
