Our Family​

Being a big family, hosting and welcoming has always been culturally and emotionally enriching. We are all scattered around the world and when we come home it is like finding a home always ready to welcome you, with lots of wonderful people around.

I was born in Sicily and have always lived here – that’s why I believe my energy comes directly from the Etna volcano!
I’m actually a lawyer but I’ve always been passionate in cooking and traditional knowledges of Sicilian culture that also pass through our most famous recipes.

Moreover, hosting travelers from all countries and chatting with them around my table I’ve learned much more than in all my life’s voyages about other cultures, life style, traditions

The Concept

One of our guests once said ‘I tasted it and cried‘, talking about pasta alla norma. Cooking is not taken for granted in our hectic everyday lives. We give you back a moment, for you, or to share with a friend or lover, to indulge in a rejuvenating activity, under the guidance of Deborah’s expert hand. The peeling of the aubergines, the stirring of the pasta, and a thousand other small gestures, are what will lead you to a unique, tasty dish that will leave an indelible memory.
